Who is VanWest Marketing?
VanWest Marketing is an internet marketing company based out of Vancouver, Canada. Founded by two experienced internet marketers Pete Banicevic and Brendan Carpenter. Between the the two, they are responsible for up to 15 profitable online businesses of their own, as well as over 500 hours of classroom and one on one training in relation to starting and running an online business . After seeing success with their own small niche market websites with relatively high keyword competition, they decided to combine their expertise and help local offline businesses grow with an online presence. As small business owners themselves, they are dedicated to helping the small guy or girl succeed in the business world. It is something this team really takes to heart. VanWest is a rather small company with only 5 total employees . This enables them to focus 100% of their attention on their clients. Pete Banicevic – Co-Founder started his internet marketing career as a business development manager with a Vancouver based internet marketing company named The Internet Marketing Center. IMC was and currently is the largest internet marketing training company in the world. IMC was founded by the late Corey Rudl in 1996, arguably the most important pioneer in the internet marketing community to ever live. Afterwards Corey’s good friend and protege the legendary Derek Gehl took the reigns and helped grow IMC to the absolute top of the internet marketing world. After a year of learning the ropes on the business development side of things from Derek and his team of experts and then launching his own profitable websites, Pete then moved on to the training department. In the training department he mentored clients and helped them launch profitable websites from the root by using the following strategies: online market research, competition analysis, website development, sales-copy writing, PPC, SEO, testing and tracking, email marketing and affiliate marketing. After years of learning from the most innovative and influential internet marketing minds in North America Pete decided to move on to becoming a full-time business owner. Pete is very passionate about 3 things: sports, business and Vancouver. Understanding the importance of teamwork and a deep rooted passion to helping business owners in this beautiful city has possessed Pete to becoming a dedicated machine, and this translates to his clients successes.
Brendan Carpenter – Co-Founder has been in the internet marketing industry for 6 years. He first started out by building small, niche websites on a wide variety of topics, in order to better learn the ins and outs of building traffic by dominating google. His formal education was from the Langara Web Development program. After taking this program, he realized that college computer courses rarely teach the monetization side of building websites, and so went about learning the process of building websites with the sole focus of earning an income. Brendan has bought, built or sold over 100 websites himself, excluding work for clients. His most recent large scale project was a product in the highly competitive herbal health industry, where he built the product from the ground up, including an e-commerce website that handled all sales, and received considerable press in a number of American and Canadian news outlets. He prefers building and promoting websites to dealing with health regulators, so has shifted his focus to helping small businesses to improve their online presence. When not helping clients, he has a secondary business buying, improving and flipping websites.
